I enjoy sharing my love of creativity and giving others a hands on learning experience in a fun way. I have run arts and crafts summer clubs in Europe for 6-10 year olds and 12-16 year olds respectively, 2001 & 2004. I taught vegetarian and vegan cooking classes in the University of Maryland 2008-2009. I currently design alter pieces, floral displays, and all kinds of festival decor and props for a local Temple/Church. I do face painting, mehndi and creative artistic projects for festivals, childrens parties and weddings. I also do speciality vegan and vegetarian cooking for big and small events. I have travelled extensively worldwide, and I had the opportunity to spend time working in art studios and temples in India and Hungary. I have cooked with awesome chefs in variety of environments from an outdoors kitchen in the Costa Rican jungle to a FEMA tent in the desert. All this has given me an appreciation for different cultures, vibrant colors, distinct and subtle flavors, and various styles of art. To me sharing a creative project is sharing something heartfelt. You connect and learn from each other, and open a door to those who are eager and ready to explore. I feel its valuable to get personal time with people who love what they do and care to share it with others. I would like to pass the gift on. :)
