Experience
I have spent a number of years working in the marine biology field, which involved lots of study or fish eggs and larvae while working at a consulting company that works on environmental issues. And I love science. But before that, I had experience teaching, and I began to really miss it. So, I went to Japan and taught French and English, and am now pursuing my master's degree in Middle School Science Education. I am fluent in both French and English, and have tutored many students in these subjects. I find great joy in sharing the natural world with students, and tutoring science subjects is my favorite. However, I am also able to tutor French at all levels, English, and assist students studying for standardized exams such as the GRE, among others. Outside of teaching, I really love animals, especially dogs, cats, and horses. I also like hiking, and love to spend time in the water kayaking or playing water sports.

Hobbies
I love all animals but am particularly fond of horses, dogs, and cats. I love to read and play fast paced word games/trivia. I really enjoy hiking and bouldering and am always finding an excuse to get my hands dirty. As a previous marine biologist, I am drawn to the water: canoeing, kayaking, and any water sports are great
