Why I want to be a tutor: I tutored a number of students and classmates when I was in high school, just in my free time. I've found that students who have the desire to learn really can master the material -- some students may just learn better when the material is presented to them in a different way. Seeing a hard-working student "get it" is an extremely rewarding experience, and the reason I want to resume tutoring while I am home for the summer.
